Job summary

SafeSplash Lancaster is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills using Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, supportive environment. You will provide ongoing feedback and structure class time to reinforce essential skills while ensuring swimmer safety in and around the pool.

Current or pending CPR-PR/AED and First Aid certifications are preferred; training is offered to hirees within 60 days. The role suits those passionate about kids and swimming, with a flexible schedule and no

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
• Must be able to be in the water for extended periods and assist children in and out of the pool, up to 75 pounds when needed.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
