Job summary

SafeSplash Lancaster is seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills in line with our curriculum, delivering positive feedback and maintaining a fun, safe learning environment. This role emphasizes consistent skill development, activity structure, and swimmer safety for children across sessions.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, adaptable, and comfortable in the water for extended periods, with certification support provided within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
• Someone who is excited to learn, grow, and build skills for the future.
• Requires the ability to be in the water for extended periods, actively engage with swimmers, and assist children in and out of the pool, including lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds when needed.
