Job summary

City of Loveland is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach and supervise swim lessons for children and adults. You will organize classes under the direction of the Aquatics Specialist and support registration and lesson planning. The role requires safety-focused instruction and ongoing record-keeping.

Hourly pay ranges from $15.76 to $21.27, with duties including mornings, evenings, weekends and holiday hours. A background check and drug screen are required before employment.

Qualifications

• Six months of swim instruction experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire date required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct, supervise and evaluate participants in the swim lesson program.
• Ensure safety in all swimming classes and proper use of equipment.
• Maintain progress records and assist with class registration and lesson plans.
• Promote program information and educate users about services.
