Job summary

SafeSplash Brands, LLC in Naples, FL is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming using our curriculum in a fun, positive environment. You will focus on safety, skill development, and student engagement during classes held at our Naples location.

Whether you have prior instruction experience or not, we offer training. CPR/First Aid and WSI are preferred, with certification support provided within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• WSI certification is preferred.
• Current CPR-PR/AED and First Aid certification is preferred; we will help you get certified within 60 days of hire.
• Experience teaching swimmers ages 6 months to 10 years and those with Special Needs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming skills per the Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner.
• Provide continuous, positive feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement, and new skill introduction.
• Ensure swimmer safety at all times.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
