Job summary

YMCA is seeking a Swim Instructor to join our active team in Naperville. The role offers flexible hours, with shifts Monday–Friday 5–9pm and weekend availability, and no experience is required as training and certification are provided.

Earn starting pay at $18.00/hour and enjoy a Free YMCA Membership as you help members learn to swim. You will teach swim skills to all ages, deliver excellent customer service, and may participate in Swim League instruction for pre-swim teams.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Certification in YMCA Swim Lessons or ARC Water Safety Instructor, CPR, First Aid, AED and Oxygen certification or complete YMCA Aquatics Academy.
• Passion for working with diverse youth and providing high-quality instruction.
• Meets all physical qualifications required for certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim skills to kids and adults, helping them gain confidence in the water.
• Deliver excellent customer service to members and guests.
• Assist with Swim League Instructor duties and teach pre-swim team kids.

• Meets physical qualifications required for certification in job
