Job summary

HealthFitness is hiring Swim Instructors to join the Aquatics Team at our corporate client site in Marysville, Ohio. This on-call role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to earn supplemental income while helping others gain confidence in the water.

Responsibilities include providing effective and safe swim instruction for adults and children, and designing individualized programs. Applicants must be at least 17 and hold CPR/AED/First Aid and WSI certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification required prior to start date.
• American Red Cross WSI certification.
• Proficiency in all swim strokes.
• Experience teaching adults and children preferred.

• Design individualized programs to meet participants' interests, abilities, and goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons.
• Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required prior to start date.
• American Red Cross WSI certification.
• Must have a strong swim background.
• Proficiency in all swim strokes.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.

Compensation

Compensation: $14 - $17/hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
