Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking Swim Instructors to join the Aquatics Team at Advocate Condell Centre Club in Gurnee, IL. You will provide safe swim instruction to adults and children in private or small group lessons, and design personalized programs based on each participant’s goals and abilities.

This is a flexible, commission-based role with 5–29 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification required within 30 days.
• Must have a strong swim background.
• Proficiency in all swim strokes.

Responsibilities

About the role

HealthFitness is looking for Swim Instructors to join the Aquatics Team at our Advocate Condell Centre Club, managed by HealthFitness client site located in Gurnee, IL. In this position, you will provide effective and safe swim instruction to adults and children participating in private or small group lessons. You will design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities, and goals. Flexible schedule with the ability to work between 5-29 hours per week.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Adult & Child CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days.
• Must have a strong swim background.
• Proficiency in all swim strokes.

Compensation

Commission-based position.

Pay is dependent on service packages. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
