Job summary

Lehi City is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach group and private swim lessons for all patrons. The role offers a variety of shifts within the Recreation Department and requires the ability to pass a background and drug test.

Experience is valued, and Red Cross WSI certification (or equivalent) is preferred but not required. Training is provided on hire, with a maximum of 25 hours per week.

PAY RATE: $13.31 - $15.97, depending on experience

JOB SUMMARY

Teach group lessons of varied ages(Preschool 1-4, Levels 1-6) and/or private, one-on-one swim lessons for all patrons interested.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Red Cross WSI certification or equivalent preferred but not required; relevant experience is valued and training is provided upon hire.
• Shifts available are:
  • 10 am to 12 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm first two weeks of each month
  • Adult Lessons: 9 pm to 10:15 pm
  • Homeschool lessons: 9 am to 10 am weekly
• Private lesson instruction available to trained instructors
• Cover or work other shifts as needed; maximum of 25 hours per week
• Must be able to pass a background and drug test.
