Job summary

A local swim instruction facility in Orlando, Oklahoma, is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor to teach swim skills and ensure the safety of students. The role requires working afternoons and weekends, focusing on building water confidence. Qualifications

  • Ability to commit for the summer Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3-8 pm and/or Tuesday, Thursday 3-8 pm & Saturday 9-2 pm.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Experience in teaching or as an instructor.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of all students during swim classes.
  • Teach swim skills following the curriculum provided.
  • Communicate with students and staff effectively.
  • Complete any required training and engage in continuous learning.

As a swim instructor you are responsible for the safety of each class and teaching swim skills to students using our curriculum. You will work to build water confidence within your students, encouraging each student to rise to the best of their abilities. You can expect to be regularly communicating with students and fellow staff members. You should be someone who welcomes feedback and is a continuous learner.

We have a fun and rewarding work environment with a great atmosphere for someone who loves teaching and being around water. We offer paid training. This is a part-time position that requires afternoon/evening and weekend shifts.

Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Member schools are independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the member school, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this school.
