Job summary

Swimtelligent Swim Club in West Covina, CA is seeking enthusiastic Swimming Instructors to teach a range of ages from toddlers to adults. You will deliver safe, structured lessons, follow school programs, and communicate with parents about progress.

We offer paid training, a competitive hourly wage of $22–$27, incentives, employee discounts, flexible scheduling, and room for growth. Prior experience is welcome but not required; CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• CPR certification or relevant safety certification is required.
• Prior swim teaching experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to all ages (toddlers to adults).
• Ensure student safety in and out of the water.
• Set up and break down lesson stations.
• Prepare and follow lesson plans based on school programs.
• Track student progress and maintain records.
• Communicate clearly with parents and supervisors.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Wear uniforms during working hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are an indoor swim school dedicated to providing safe, professional, and caring swim instruction for children and families. We are currently hiring enthusiastic and patient Swimming Instructors who love working with kids and want to grow with us.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming lessons to all age groups (toddlers through adults)

• Attend training sessions required

Requirements

• Passion for working with children
• Patient, caring, responsible, and energetic
• CPR or relevant safety certification required
• Willingness to learn and grow (experience preferred but not required)
• Ability to teach independently
• Availability for 4–6 hours shifts, at least 3 days per week
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• High school diploma or equivalent

Strongly Preferred

• Prior swim teaching experience
• Red Cross WSI Certification
• ASCA Certification
• Competitive swimming background
• Experience working with children with special needs
• Chinese-speaking candidates
