Goldfish Swim School - Glen Ellyn is seeking a Deck Supervisor to manage shifts, supervise staff, and ensure safety and cleanliness in the pool environment. The role includes leading daily meetings, interacting with parents, completing shift logs, coordinating cleanliness, and acting as a substitute swim instructor as necessary. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and experience in youth sports or teaching preferred. Lifeguard and CPR certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, and/or teacher preferred.
• Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned shift and supervise on-deck employees.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings to prepare the deck.
• Evaluate instructors and engage with parents about student progress.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of the pool facility.
• Suggest areas for improvement and participate in training.
