Job summary

Goldfish Swim School - Glen Ellyn is seeking a Swim Instructor who will provide swim instruction to children and enforce safety rules. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, high school diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid certification. No prior experience necessary as all training will be provided. Qualifications

• Ability to pass background examinations included with training.
• Swimming experience is preferred.
• Experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor/coach, or childcare provider is required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students on water safety and swim techniques.
• Enforce safety rules to prevent accidents.
• Evaluate students’ progress and complete paperwork.
• Interact with parents about students’ swim skills.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool areas.
