Job summary

MIKEL, Inc. in Middletown, RI, is seeking a SWFTS Integration and Test Systems Engineer to plan, execute, and document the integration, verification, and test of Linux-based submarine combat system software and hardware in shore labs, development environments, and platform-representative configurations.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on combat system experience with a Computer Science and/or Systems Engineering background and can translate requirements into disciplined integration and test

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• 4-7 years of DoD/Navy systems engineering, integration and test experience.
• Hands-on combat system experience with integration, operation, or test of complex tactical systems.
• Experience with Linux, Python, Bash, or C++ in test environments.
• U.S. citizen with DoD Secret clearance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute integration and test activities for SWFTS software, hardware, and tactical applications.
• Integrate software releases, equipment, network services, and system configurations in labs and test environments.
• Develop and maintain integration and test plans, procedures, scripts, and reports.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Linux-based combat system environments and services.
• Verify interfaces and data exchanges across subsystems and ensure compliance with requirements.
