Job summary

MIKEL, Inc. seeks a SWFTS / BYG-1 AUKUS Systems Engineering Coordinator to support Navy modernization efforts. You will coordinate technical inputs, assessments, cost/schedule analysis, and baseline specifications across SWFTS, BYG-1, and AUKUS programs with government and contractor teams.

The ideal candidate has experience with Navy tactical systems, software integration, test & evaluation, and configuration management, plus strong communication. U.S.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience supporting systems engineering, software engineering, combat systems, test and evaluation, or DoD/Navy programs.
• Experience supporting Navy tactical systems, SWFTS, BYG-1, combat system assessment, or related undersea warfare programs.
• Ability to support cost, schedule, technical baseline, and milestone planning activities.
• Experience developing technical products for external review, coordination, and concurrence with government and program stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary technical contact for BYG-1 Combat System Assessment, SWFTS, and AUKUS initiatives.
• Coordinate cost and schedule analysis to support planning and milestone tracking.
• Support baseline specification of existing systems and interfaces, configurations, and software baselines.
• Develop and deliver technical products for external program stakeholders and reviews.
• Create and maintain reference sets for equipment, software, and system configurations.
• Provide assessment support for integration and test activities and trace requirements.
