MIKEL, Inc. in Middletown, RI is seeking an experienced DevSecOps Systems Engineer to lead secure design, development, and deployment of Undersea Warfare capabilities for the DoD.

You will integrate DevSecOps with MBSE and Agile methods, using SysML to model, simulate, and verify requirements throughout the digital thread. The role requires 10–15 years in systems engineering, with 5+ years in DevSecOps and MBSE, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics field.
• Active security clearance (Secret) required at time of hire.
• 10–15 years of systems engineering experience with 5+ years in DevSecOps, MBSE and integration/testing.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption and maturity of DevSecOps pipelines and tooling within the USW environment.
• Design and develop engineered systems using SysML models and ensure security requirements are verifiable.
• Integrate DevSecOps with MBSE and Agile across the system life cycle from requirements to deployment.
• Lead technical tasks, mentor team members, and collaborate with Cyber, Software, and Test groups.
• Turn requirements into secure, deployable actions for Navy mission needs.
