Job summary

Wilton Industries Inc. in Naperville, IL, seeks a part-time assistant for the Wilton Sweet Studio to support baking classes and studio operations under the Executive Pastry Chef.

The role is approximately 25 hours per week, including Saturdays, with a strong focus on organization, food safety, and customer service while maintaining classroom and kitchen areas. Hybrid schedule offered with some Fridays half-day.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow instructions accurately, and respond well to direction.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills.
• Understanding the basics of food safety.
• Basic baking math/computation skills with a strong attention to detail when measuring ingredients and following recipes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for classes, including mise en place and ingredient preparation.
• Assist baking classes and monitor ovens as needed.
• Follow Wilton Sweet Studio procedures and safety guidelines.
• Set up classroom stations and greet students.
• Maintain cleanliness and organize ingredients and supplies.
• Assist with inventory, deliveries, and studio maintenance.
