Bellingham Marine is seeking a capable Construction Manager to assist the Project Manager on multiple dock construction projects. You will direct and coordinate construction activities to maximize efficiency, align with schedules, and uphold safety and quality standards across crews, subcontractors, and suppliers.
The role requires reading schedules, planning procedures from drawings and specs, and administering project documentation, changes, and payment applications.
Assists the Project Manager on individual or multiple projects by providing direction and coordination of construction activities on assigned jobs to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate leads and employees. May be required to assist jobsite personnel with pre-installation jobsite demolition and/or the installation of Bellingham Marine’s dock systems as needed. From time to time, may also be required to fulfill other responsibilities and requirements as assigned. The successful applicant will be required to pass a background check, possess a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record, and participate in random drug screening per our Drug Free Workplace Policy.

Supervises construction crew lead persons (and construction laborers directly as required). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degrees in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent are preferred.
