Job summary

Bellingham Marine is seeking a Project Manager/Construction Supervisor to assist the Project Manager on multiple projects, directing and coordinating construction activities to maximize efficiency and profits. The role may require assisting jobsite personnel with pre-installation demolition or dock system installation and may involve other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Degrees in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read and analyze schedules in MS Project or be fully functional quickly.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize and schedule work to develop preliminary schedules and work plans.
Coordinate supervisory and field crews throughout the project.
Order procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
Confer with project managers, engineers, inspectors to resolve construction problems.
Administer project documentation and changes to contracts; prepare change orders.
Ensure safety program adherence and loss control measures.
