Job summary

Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) in Lexington, KY seeks a Senior Vice President, Service Line Operations to lead the operational development, growth, integration, and performance of clinical service lines across the ARH system. This role partners with executive leadership, physicians, hospital operations, nursing leadership, and business functions to grow service lines and improve patient access.

• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations and service line development.
• Experience leading multi-hospital initiatives and physician alignment.
• Proven ability to drive growth, improvement and performance accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive leadership for operational development and growth of clinical service lines.
• Leads service line initiatives to improve volumes, access, and alignment.
• Oversees development of Orthopedics, Women’s Services, Cardiology and other programs.
• Builds scalable leadership structures, governance models, and program oversight.
• Collaborates with executive leadership, physicians, and operations to coordinate delivery.
• Supports capital investments, workforce planning, and program expansion.
• Monitors KPIs, benchmarks, and quality outcomes across facilities.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards across service lines.
