Job summary

Southwestern Vermont Health Care (SVHC), part of the Dartmouth Health system, seeks an experienced healthcare operations leader to oversee ambulatory practices and ancillary hospital services. The Vice President of Ambulatory Services develops processes to support clinical priorities, quality and safety, and optimizes patient access.

Reporting to the CFO, the role partners with clinical chairs and nursing leadership to drive strategic initiatives and financial stewardship across SVMC and SVHC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare leadership experience in a complex health system.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ambulatory practices and ancillary hospital services.
• Report to the Chief Operating and Financial Officer.
• Develop processes to support clinical priorities, quality and safety goals, and patient access.
• Serve as strategic partner to clinical chairs and nursing leadership.
• Lead and measure change initiatives within the health system.
