Appalachian Regional Healthcare (ARH) seeks a visionary VP of Oncology Services to drive strategy, performance, and clinical quality across the system.

You will align medical and administrative leaders, oversee oncology programs, bridge research and accreditation, and ensure sustainable growth.

This executive role requires broad leadership, financial stewardship, and a commitment to patient-centered care across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of ten years of healthcare leadership experience, incl. multi-site leadership.
• Experience in oncology operations, cancer programs, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes strategic direction for ARH's Oncology Service Line.
• Provides executive oversight for Medical, Radiation, Infusion, and Oncology programs.
• Leads enterprise oncology operations across facilities and physician practices.
• Implements long-term growth strategies, recruitment, and market development.
• Partner with leaders to advance oncology strategy and improve patient outcomes.
• Establishes enterprise standards for oncology operations, quality, and patient experience.
• Oversees financial performance, budgeting, and productivity for the service line.
• Identifies and implements operational improvements to enhance efficiency and sustainability.
• Leads cancer program development, accreditation readiness, and regulatory compliance.
• Develops partnerships to strengthen referrals, research opportunities, and community outreach.
• Provides executive leadership for oncology leaders and promotes accountability.
