Su mmary:
Provides leadership, management, and vision to ensure financial strength, effective risk management, operational efficiency, and performance accountability. Aligns the operation to ensure the execution of strategic goals and objectives. Responsible for overseeing the operating efforts of the bank and working closely with the processing vendor to mitigate risk and make enhancements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with COO to ensure alignment and execution on strategic goals and initiatives.
- Responsible for the administration, coordination, development, and implementation of all operational functions.
- Responsible for development, implementation and execution of policies, procedures, systems, and budgets.
- Oversight of Client Onboarding initiatives to include agent onboarding and conversion processes.
- Serves as a key liaison with core vendor; provides feedback on service quality, compliance, and expense management.
- Develop and coordinate all departmental training and development programs to facilitate staffing and maximize employee potential.
- Implement appropriate controls and action plans regarding the Bank’s operations and review those established by direct reports acting in a supervisory capacity.
- Direct oversight of Customer Contact Center (C3 and Ops Support), Strategic Business Unit, and Client Onboarding (3 direct reports).
- Oversight of vendors and systems that provide customer-facing products and services.
- Work directly with vendors to create/refine processes for adding clients.
- Oversee the management of portfolio acquisitions and conversions.
- Oversee the management and development of products and services.
- Maintain awareness of changing trends and regulations which might affect the Bank and act on information as required.
- Carry out other such duties as may be assigned or requested.
- Presenting on credit card topics at industry events.
- Some travel required on occasion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or an advanced degree preferred).
- 15+ years’ experience in bank operations.
- 10+ years’ experience in leadership management.
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in vendor and relationship management.
- Well-developed and demonstrated ability to articulate a mission, gain staff alignment with goals, and to manage people, technology, and processes in such a way as to ensure consistent success against goals.
- Proven ability to deliver results, while focused on continuous business process improvement.
- Effective change management to include overcoming resistance and barriers to change.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams or work groups to achieve challenging objectives. Demonstrated track record building teams, career growth plans, and organizational strength through leadership, partnership, and a high level of integrity. Strong ability to influence others and to build collaborative internal team environments. Highly developed ability to transfer skills and knowledge to others.
- Demonstrated success in cross-functional team building and the ability to partner with other operations and strategy functions. Proven ability to positively interface with other departments, units, managers, and colleagues to achieve specific business results. Experience and comfort working with all levels of employees and management.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and manage multiple commitments and deadlines under own initiative in a highly demanding, fast paced, hands-on environment with minimal guidance. Demonstrated ability to quickly generate creative approaches to rapidly developing economic and business environments.
- Knowledge of applicable consumer credit card and lending regulations including Reg. Z; the Credit CARD Act; FCRA; FDCPA; FFIEC and OCC regulations; and state laws.
- Experience and comfort making decisions with significant financial impacts.
- Proven results in the areas of portfolio management, staff management, capacity planning, resource management, methods of recognition and reward, motivation and leadership, goal and direction setting, statistics, data/performance analysis, and technology management.
- Ability to partner with management colleagues and executive leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across the organization.

The actual compensation offered to the candidate will be finalized at the offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry-specific knowledge, education/certifications, etc. The offer rate represents one component of TCM Bank's total compensation package. Employees will also receive several benefits as listed below. Other compensation for this position may include bonus eligibility in the TCM Annual Bonus Incentive Plan.
