Job description

The client is seeking a visionary SVP of Operations to lead operational excellence across an end-to-end eCommerce business. This senior executive role will oversee supply chain, logistics, customer service, fulfillment, and related operational processes to ensure a seamless, premium customer experience as the business scales. The position will support growth through operational strategy, innovation, and a strong focus on digital commerce dynamics.

The SVP of Operations will develop and execute an operations strategy that drives scalability and customer satisfaction, including continuous improvement across fulfillment, shipping, returns, and inventory management. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end supply chain operations such as vendor relations, procurement, warehouse management, and third-party logistics, while optimizing fulfillment efficiency, delivery speed, and cost-to-serve. The role will also build eCommerce infrastructure to support fast-growing direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels, ensuring inventory and order accuracy and on-time delivery, and will oversee customer service strategy, tools, and team leadership using feedback loops to improve operations.

The SVP of Operations will partner closely with technology, merchandising, finance, and marketing to align operational initiatives with business goals and to advise on strategic planning, budgeting, and process improvements. The role includes building and mentoring an operations team while driving a culture of transparency, accountability, data-driven decision-making, and operational discipline. Qualifications include 10+ years of operations leadership experience with a strong track record in eCommerce and DTC retail (preferably in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle), expertise in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, and customer service for omnichannel retail, strong analytical and financial acumen, and proven ability to scale operations; a bachelor’s degree is required, and an advanced degree and/or MBA is preferred.
