Job summary

Sinch is seeking an SVP of Email to lead Mailgun end-to-end, driving strategy, roadmaps, and enterprise-grade email across Sinch Build. You will own commercial outcomes, scale the product, and unify the customer journey for developers, platforms, and enterprise senders.

You will partner with sales, marketing, customer success, and regional teams to accelerate growth, improve deliverability, and establish Mailgun as Sinch’s standard for API-first email.

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years in product management and engineering leadership.
• Experience delivering strategy through execution and operations.
• Proven SaaS, API-first, developer platform experience across self-service, product-led growth, enterprise sales, and partner-led motions.
• Strong commercial acumen including pricing, margins, and portfolio investments.
• Deep customer orientation focusing on developer experience, onboarding, activation, deliverability, reliability.
• Experience operating in global, cross-functional environments with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Set the Email strategy and operating model for Mailgun across Send, Optimize, Validate, Inspect, and related platform capabilities.
• Lead product, engineering, and platform execution with high-performing teams and clear ownership.
• Bring Email into Sinch Build with a go-to-market plan to make Sinch Email a first-class offering.
• Drive growth and commercial performance across revenue, gross profit, margin, and pricing.
• Strengthen Mailgun’s market position as an API-first email platform for reliable delivery and observability.
• Simplify the customer experience across sending, deliverability, analytics, onboarding, and billing.
• Partner with go-to-market teams to sharpen positioning and improve pipeline contribution.
• Build for enterprise scale, security, compliance, and data governance.
• Expand the ecosystem via developer channels, integrations, and partnerships.
• Use data to run the business with clear operating metrics across key funnel stages.
