Job summary

Howden is seeking a Senior Vice President, Representations & Warranties Insurance (RWI) in a hybrid Los Angeles role. You will originate new client relationships, expand accounts, and lead placements for transactional risk solutions in mergers and acquisitions.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in transactional insurance or related fields, with a strong revenue track record, and the ability to mentor junior staff while building insurer relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in transactional insurance, M&A advisory, corporate law, investment banking, private equity, or related field.
• Proven success sourcing and developing client relationships.
• Strong network within PE, legal, investment banking, accounting, or corporate M&A communities.

Responsibilities

• Originate new business opportunities through direct prospecting, networking, referrals, and market engagement.
• Build and maintain relationships with PE firms, strategic buyers, banks, law firms, and other influencers.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and business development initiatives.
• Advise clients on risk allocation, indemnification structures, and insurance solutions in M&A transactions.
• Negotiate with insurers to secure optimal coverage, pricing, and policy terms.
• Mentor analysts, associates, AVPs, and vice presidents across the business.
