Job summary

Howden is seeking a Vice President to lead Real Estate Representations & Warranties Insurance (RWI) placements for complex real estate transactions, with hybrid work from NYC or LA. This role collaborates with private equity sponsors, developers, and law firms to structure and place policies.

You will oversee deal execution, due diligence, and client advisory, mentoring staff while expanding Howden’s Real Estate RWI presence in private equity circles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; JD preferred.
• Experience in private equity real estate or related transactions.
• Exposure to RWI or transactional risk products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Real Estate RWI placements from engagement to policy binding.
• Coordinate underwriting with insurers, clients, brokers, and advisors.
• Review transaction documents and identify insurable exposures for clients.
