Job summary

Landing Point, a leading private debt credit manager with extensive capital under management, is seeking a Senior Vice President of Legal Entity Accounting to drive transformation and mentor a high-performing team in New York.

The role oversees monthly closes, intercompany eliminations, GAAP compliance, audits, and regulatory filings, while partnering with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Investor Reporting to support capital markets initiatives and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field; CPA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting and accounting.
• Experience managing audits and regulatory filings.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial controls.
• Proficiency in financial systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, OneStream, DFIN.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development skills.
• Experience supporting capital markets or unsecured offerings is a plus.
• Knowledge of Wall Street Office software (WSO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including MD&A.
• Manage monthly financial close and intercompany eliminations.
• Ensure all entries are booked to the correct legal entities in accordance with Investment Advisory agreements.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely completion of reviews and audits.
• Prepare monthly internal management schedules.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and filing.
• Own and maintain dimensionality in OneStream and DFIN.
• Support legal and capital solutions teams with unsecured offerings.
• Maintain a strong internal control framework.
• Evaluate and improve financial processes.
• Manage, mentor, and develop the financial reporting and general ledger booking team.
• Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Operations, and Investor Reporting.
• Contribute to transformation projects.
• Manage the approval process for financial data in key external presentations.
