Job summary

Area23 seeks an SVP Director of Engagement Strategy to lead high-impact client work and grow revenue through innovative engagement programs. You will mentor teams, drive cross-functional collaboration, and champion engagement strategy across the agency.

You will define strategies, represent the agency at events, manage junior staff, oversee deliverables, and lead new business pitches, with a focus on healthcare marketing and executive-level client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• 13+ years of healthcare marketing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with ability to create complex presentations.
• Experience with brainstorming software (Stormz, Miro, Mural) and online collaboration platforms (Zoom).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present in high-pressure situations.
• Strong active listening skills, with a collaborative and constructive working style, and proven ability to lead teams.
• Unwavering personal integrity, conflict resolution skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage shifting responsibilities.

• Provide expertise and thought leadership, representing the agency at events, conferences, and panels, and publishing thought leadership pieces (POVs) in internal and external publications.
• Manage, develop, and grow junior and mid-level staff, setting goals and identifying growth opportunities through mentorship, feedback, and coaching.
• Create new engagement deliverables and processes to address emerging needs and oversee account engagement, ensuring accuracy and impact of all deliverables.
• Interface independently with senior clients and agency senior leadership, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Drive significant organic growth through incremental engagement work and lead new business pitches, presenting innovative engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
