Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Vice President to join our Corporate Strategy team in New York. The role shapes the enterprise strategy across businesses, guiding ambitious initiatives and collaborating with senior leaders to drive growth and long-term value creation.

You will lead high-impact engagements end to end, frame hypotheses, analyze data and present actionable recommendations to executives, while applying AI responsibly and developing talent within the team.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of corporate strategy experience at a top financial institution, consulting firm or fintech.
• Strong understanding of financial institutions, market infrastructure, regulatory forces and related dynamics.
• Experience with AI, data analytics, automation and enterprise technology; ability to connect technical possibilities to business value.
• Proven track record evaluating or developing new products, platforms or partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Shape enterprise strategy across businesses and geographies, linking market shifts to priorities.
• Lead priority engagements end to end: structure questions, frame hypotheses, manage workstreams and synthesize recommendations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management, sharpening priorities and surfacing trade-offs.
• Translate innovation into value by assessing AI, data, automation and new tech for growth and risk management.
• Build external perspectives by monitoring competitors, fintechs, regulators and client behavior.
• Apply AI responsibly in strategy craft, ensuring data protection, validation and transparency.
• Develop exceptional talent by coaching teams and enabling leadership development.
