BNY Mellon is looking for a Senior Director, Leadership Development to join our Corporate Affairs team in New York City. This role will lead the development and transformation of leadership strategies across the firm, ensuring that we strengthen and shape capable leaders within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in leadership assessment and succession planning within a complex financial services environment. You will leverage AI tools to drive effective leadership development and enhance organizational impact.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Managing Director or executive promotion processes.
• Background in leadership assessment, succession planning, and enterprise talent reviews.
• Experience in a highly matrixed financial services or similarly regulated environment.
• Experience designing or implementing AI literacy and workforce transformation programs.
• Familiarity with responsible AI adoption and capability-building.

Responsibilities

• Lead leadership development strategy across the firm.
• Design differentiated leadership pathways for senior talent.
• Partner with leaders to identify development needs and gaps.
• Own and evolve MD promotion processes and governance.
