Job summary

Synchrony seeks an SVP, Cloud & Infrastructure Platforms to shape strategy and drive the modernization of our cloud and infrastructure capabilities. You will lead architecture, engineering practices, governance, and operations across private and public cloud, networking, databases, and VDI, enabling secure, scalable platforms that accelerate business growth.

You will partner with CIO, Security, Architecture, Product, and Business leaders to align investments with enterprise goals, while

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline; 10+ years IT leadership experience.
Proven track record leading large, mission-critical technology platforms and teams.
Strong knowledge of cloud, automation, observability, networking, databases, and operations.
Experience presenting strategy and performance to senior leadership and regulators.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise strategy, architecture, roadmap, and operating model for private/public cloud and related platform services.
Lead a high-performing engineering organization with accountability and continuous improvement.
Partner with Technology, Security, Risk, and Business leaders to align investments with enterprise objectives.
Drive cloud modernization, resilience, security, and cost efficiency.
Deliver secure, scalable cloud, network, database, and hybrid-connectivity capabilities for employees and operations.
Establish governance, standards, and automation across platforms.
