Job summary

Swiss Valley Inc. is seeking a Chalet Bar & Grill Lead to support the Food & Beverage Manager in daily operations of the Lower Lodge pub.

This hands-on leadership role ensures smooth service, quality food and beverage preparation, and compliance with Michigan liquor regulations. The Lead provides guidance to seasonal staff, maintains a friendly and guest-focused environment, and may assist other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old by 11/1/2026.
• Background check after hire.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience in food & beverage service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bar and grill operations during assigned shifts, ensuring timely service.
• Support and coach team members in guest service, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Monitor bar compliance with liquor laws and responsible service practices.
• Assist with ordering, inventory tracking, and restocking of supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming pub environment.
• Communicate staffing or operational needs to F&B Manager.
• Step in to assist in food prep, bar service, and events as needed.

This hands-on leadership role ensures smooth service flow, quality food and beverage preparation, and compliance with Michigan liquor regulations. The Bar & Grill Lead plays a key role in maintaining a friendly, efficient, and guest-focused environment while providing guidance and oversight to seasonal staff.
