Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. is seeking a student pursuing an engineering degree to support the suture prototyping team in Ave Maria, FL (AMIE). As a co‑op, you will develop and prototype sutures, collaborate with experienced engineers, and contribute to testing and data-driven improvements to manufacturability.

The co‑op runs January 2027 – June 2027, requiring 40 hours/week at the Ave Maria facility. Mechanical/biomedical engineering background and prototyping experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full‑time student pursuing an engineering degree or a recent graduate within six months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and members of the prototype team.
• Develop mechanical fixtures relating to sutures.
• Run data analysis and utilize data to improve processes.
• Contribute ideas in brainstorming sessions.
• Develop and support suture/textile prototypes.
• Other duties as assigned
