Job summary

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company seeking a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree to support the Supplier Quality team in Ave Maria, FL (AMIE). The role involves investigating supplier materials, documenting results, and applying root cause analysis and DMAIC with guidance from engineers.

The co-op runs January 2027 – June 2027, requiring 40 hours per week at the Ave Maria facility. Ideal candidates are pursuing Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical Engineering or Materials

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an engineering degree or a recent graduate within six months required.
• Junior or above; Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical Engineering or Materials Science preferred.
• Statistical analysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier quality activities at AMIE.
• Investigate, disposition, and document supplier provided materials with guidance from engineering staff.
• Perform root cause analysis and DMAIC to drive improvements.
• Develop reporting to aid product release decisions and metrics.
• Communicate issues timely and accurately to stakeholders.
