Tutor Intelligence, Inc. in the United States seeks a Sustaining Engineering Manager to own shipping robots as engineering products, spanning hardware and software. You will drive root-cause analysis, implement fixes, and coordinate releases across the fleet.

You will lead hardware and software engineers, build instrumentation for field data, and collaborate with field support to minimize downtime while communicating changes clearly to customers.

Formación

• Experience shipping electromechanical products across hardware and software domains.
• Proven ability to drive root-cause analysis to closure in fielded systems.
• Experience managing engineers and running change processes without bureaucracy.

Responsabilidades

• Own the shipping product: hardware and software changes to robots in the field, from root cause through release
• Run root cause to closure: decide what to measure, find the cause, prove the fix, and ensure durability
• Build instrumentation: add data collection to explain failures on robots
• Ship changes safely: qualify fixes and rollout to fleet in production
• Run the team: hire and manage engineers across hardware and software, in collaboration with field support
• Face customers: be the engineer customers talk to when something is wrong and explain changes
