Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial is seeking a Sustaining Mechanical Engineer to support the engineering manager with sustaining projects for data center modules. You will coordinate with design, manufacturing and quality teams to implement design changes and ensure product quality, reliability and safety.

Responsibilities include reviewing mechanical designs, creating technical reports, and maintaining design intent while addressing cost and schedule impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Experience with GA drawings, piping and structural designs.

Responsibilities

• Review, modify, check, and approve mechanical designs and drawings.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and quality teams to implement changes.
• Develop technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Support plant operations during manufacturing, inspection, repair, and delivery.
• Lead technical reviews of requirements, specifications, and designs.
