Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Engineering Project Manager, Sustaining, to lead complex cross‑functional sustaining engineering and product lifecycle projects for medical devices from initiation to implementation in Irvine, CA on‑site.

You will manage scope, schedules, resources, and risks, partner with leaders to balance product, quality, regulatory, operations, and supply continuity while advancing design changes, manufacturing transfers, supplier qualification and cost

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in engineering or related technical discipline; 3+ years of project management in medical device, life sciences, or regulated industry.
• Experience supporting sustaining engineering and product lifecycle activities such as design changes, manufacturing transfer, supplier qualification, obsolescence, or supply continuity.
• Strong planning, risk management, problem-solving, stakeholder management, negotiation and executive communication skills.
• Knowledge of project lifecycle tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Agile PLM, Windchill) and ability to influence cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sustaining engineering and product lifecycle projects from initiation through implementation.
• Manage portfolio scope, priorities, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering changes with stakeholders and ensure timely implementation.
• Partner with functional leaders to balance product, quality, regulatory, operations, and supply continuity considerations.
