Masimo, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Engineer II, Component in Irvine, CA. The role supports new product development, sustaining engineering, and supply chain continuity across medical device lines with component selection, lifecycle management, and supplier engagement.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, evaluate PCNs/EOLs, maintain component records, and assist with prototype builds, sourcing, and risk mitigation. On-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualificações

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3+ years of component engineering or related engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of electronic components, supply chain management, and product development processes.
• Experience reviewing and analyzing engineering BOMs.
• Familiarity with PCNs, EOL notifications, and obsolescence management.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support component decisions on cost, availability, reliability, and lifecycle.
• Support component selection, qualification, and alternate source evaluations based on specs and life-cycle needs.
• Evaluate PCNs, EOL notices, and supplier changes, with impact assessments and risk mitigation recommendations.
• Create and maintain component records, including inventory part numbers and specifications.
• Support sourcing, procurement, and risk mitigation for prototypes and project schedules.
