Job summary

Tailored Management in Edinboro, PA is seeking a Sustaining Engineering Manager to lead and mentor the Sustaining Engineering team. The role focuses on product reliability, manufacturability, regulatory compliance, and long-term product health across lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of engineering experience with manufactured products or systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Sustaining Engineering team responsible for supporting released products across their full lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership for root cause analysis, failure investigations, and corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues, improve yield, and reduce cost.
• Oversee engineering changes, deviations, and documentation updates to ensure accuracy, compliance, and traceability.
• Support customer escalations and field issues by providing engineering analysis and technical solutions.
