Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. in Edinboro, PA is seeking an Engineering Manager – Sustaining Engineering to supervise a team focused on product health, reliability, and manufacturability. The role drives design improvements and compliance while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, and Customer Support.

The candidate will lead root-cause analyses, CAPA, and engineering changes to keep products in spec and cost-efficient, with 5-10% travel and a 6-month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent work experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5-8+ years of engineering experience supporting manufactured products or systems.
• Travel required: 5-10% domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Sustaining Engineering team for released products across full lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership for root cause analysis, failure investigations, and CAPA.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and reduce cost.
• Oversee engineering changes, deviations, and documentation updates for accuracy and compliance.
• Support customer escalations and field issues with engineering analysis and solutions.
• Ensure products meet industry standards, safety requirements, and regulatory certifications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for quality, reliability, and manufacturability.
