Job summary

OPW, a Dover company, seeks a Sustaining Engineer to support a range of rail-fluid transfer products at the Hamilton facility. You will collaborate with design and operations teams to solve manufacturing and quality issues, drive improvements, and assist with new product transfers to production floors.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in sustaining engineering, strong root-cause analysis skills, and experience with Creo, Windchill, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• 3–5+ years in sustaining engineering, manufacturing support, or product engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to lead root cause analysis investigations and drive product improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory change impacts for Hamilton rail products.
• Perform forensic examinations to identify root causes and propose corrective actions.
• Support quality during audits to ensure AAR certification.
• Interface with design engineering and operations to provide frontline technical support.
• Implement product enhancements and productivity improvements.
• Manage engineering changes and update documentation.
