Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Sustaining Engineer to address production-design issues and manage the lifecycle of Busbar ETO designs. The role emphasizes fast-paced problem-solving and continuous improvement in a complex manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate cross-functionally to improve manufacturability, support production and supply chain constraints, and help ensure design quality before release. A Mechanical Engineering degree and hands-on CAD experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in product design.
• 1–3+ years in 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Experience in design for manufacturability and sheet metal/copper design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Identify and coordinate design for manufacturability improvements across safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Provide design support for production issues and supply chain constraints.
• Support NPDI and ensure quality of ETO designs before production release.
