Job summary

Cook Inc. in Spencer, Indiana, invites applications for the Spring 2027 Sustaining Engineering Co-op. This paid internship offers a 16-week rotation in Post-Market, Sustaining Engineering with a direct mentor and real-world projects in the medical device field.

Housing stipend, 401(k) and access to a fitness center are included, along with learning events, capstone presentation and ongoing professional development opportunities during the program.

Qualifications

• Must be a current college/university student entering Sophomore, Junior or Senior year or enrolled as a graduate student in Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
• Must provide proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Assist in projects across Process Improvement, Test Method Validation, Production and related Sustaining areas.
• Produce project deliverables and documentation using engineering knowledge.
• Adhere to QMS and regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485).
• Interact effectively with colleagues across the global organization and maintain safety and attendance.
