Cook Inc. in Spencer, Indiana invites engineering students for a Spring 2027 Manufacturing Engineering Co-op. The 16-week rotation offers hands-on projects in process improvement, production, and quality engineering with mentorship and real-world impact in medical device manufacturing.

The program includes a housing stipend, 401(k), fitness center access, learning events, capstone presentation, and formal mentorship. Enrolled students entering Sophomore to Senior year are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Student entering Sophomore to Senior year or Graduate student in Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred; proof of enrollment required.
• Onsite internship with 16-week rotation in Manufacturing Engineering at Spencer, IN.

Responsibilities

• Support projects in various Manufacturing Engineering areas: Process Improvement, Production, QA, and data analytics.
• Produce project deliverables and documentation.
• Adhere to QMS and regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485).
• Maintain training requirements and seek growth opportunities.
• Collaborate across levels of the global organization and uphold safety standards.
