Job summary

Regal Rexnord’s Micro-Motion unit in the US R&D team seeks a Design Engineer to support existing product lines. You’ll join the Sustaining Engineering Team, report to the Sustaining Engineering Manager, and work onsite in West Chester, PA.

You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to solve problems, process ECOs, and drive design improvements for medical, aerospace, and other applications while aligning with the company values and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
• 3+ years manufacturing or design experience.
• Familiarity with QS and ISO requirements is preferred.
• Experience with electric motors or precision rotating equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support existing products.
• Facilitate change requests, which includes Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Work with Manufacturing and Quality teams on technical problem-solving initiatives to provide design improvement.
• Support customer RMA analysis to provide sustainable solutions.
• Interact with Application Engineering and customers to ensure design solutions meet the customer’s expectations.
• Support VAVE initiatives to control cost.
