Job summary

Trane Technologies invites applications for a Project Manager, Equipment in our Fort Myers, FL or Maitland, FL Commercial Sales Office. You will manage all aspects of equipment projects, from start to finish, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment while collaborating with internal and external customers.

The role is office-based with no travel required to job sites; strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills are essential. Construction finance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or business management, 3-5 years PM/construction mgmt preferred.
• Knowledge of construction aspects (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and HVAC systems.
• Financial management/budgeting background required.
• Experience with Microsoft software and Teams; ability to learn proprietary software.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction schedule to meet customer requirements.
• Generates ship status reports detailing lead times and project status.
• Coordinates selection, pricing, and integration of equipment, controls, and services.
• Prepares detailed cost estimates.
• Manages project cash-flow: progress billing and collections.
• Creates and revises project schedules with tasks and milestones.
• Prepares material and vendor orders; records receipts and payments.
• Enters equipment orders and issues purchase orders.
• Generates work orders for equipment start-ups.
• Oversees project cash-flow management and warranty transition.
