Job summary

Billerud NA is seeking a co‑op Electrical Engineering student to support mill operations and project start‑ups. You will work with maintenance E/I technicians, maintain electrical documentation, and apply RCFA processes to troubleshoot issues.

The role develops technical and leadership skills in a sustainable packaging environment. Eligible candidates are in an engineering curriculum with a minimum 2.75 GPA, have completed at least three semesters, and can work either January–August or

Qualifications

• Engineering curriculum with an interest in pulp, paper and packaging industry.
• Minimum 2.75 GPA.
• Must have completed three semesters of college education prior to Co‑op start date.
• Available for one of two rotations (January–August or May–December).

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering support for mill operations.
• Participate in and support start-up of assigned projects.
• Provide engineering support for maintenance E/I technicians.
• Maintain consistent and accurate electrical documentation.
• Analyze problems and provide electrical engineering support for trouble resolutions following RCFA processes.
• Provide engineering support for key departments.
• Utilize problem solving and analytical skills to achieve department initiatives.
