Base pay range

$95,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

The Portfolio Energy & Sustainability Manager will serve on multiple client assignments, reporting to the Director of Sustainable Operations. The role involves overseeing energy initiatives to meet KPIs such as energy savings, carbon footprint reduction, water, and waste management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement energy management and sustainability strategies.
• Support corporate reporting and manage utility data collection, producing tailored reports.
• Drive operational improvements across real estate portfolios.
• Collaborate with energy managers and facility managers to share best practices and provide environmental sustainability advice.
• Develop systems for monitoring and reporting sustainability performance.

Requirements – Essential:

• University degree in science, engineering, math, or related fields.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems.
• Understanding of energy and water conservation measures.
• Experience with benchmarking utility data and GHG emissions reporting.
• Ability to communicate complex information effectively.

Requirements – Desirable:

• Experience conducting site walkthroughs (e.g., ASHRAE Level 1 and 2).
• Strong project management skills.
• Experience with tenders, work orders, and vendor selection.
• Knowledge of environmental reporting, utility management, and ISO 14001.
• Familiarity with energy procurement and renewable energy options.
