Job summary

ERM in Hartford is seeking a Consulting Associate, Sustainable Operations to support technically challenging environmental compliance projects for industrial and global clients. You will help manage projects, learn consulting practices, and contribute to safer, more sustainable operations.

This role offers exposure to regulatory programs, EHS compliance, and data-driven reporting while developing your project management and technical skills within a global sustainability leader.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field; MS/PE preferred.
• Recent graduate to 2 years of environmental experience or internships.
• Strong spreadsheet and database comprehension.
• Excellent time management and detail orientation.
• Strong written and verbal communication; analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental, health, and safety compliance projects for diverse clients.
• Develop permits, plans, compliance reports, and technical documentation.
• Conduct environmental compliance assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze environmental data and assist with report preparation.
• Coordinate tasks to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality goals.
• Collaborate with ERM teams to deliver client solutions and provide on-site support.
