Job summary

PAE is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Denver, CO. The internship runs 10 to 12 weeks and offers hands-on experience in sustainable building design, with tasks across electrical design, load calculations, CAD, and site observations.

The role is on-site at one of our local offices, with an hourly base rate of $21.00–$27.00. Ideal candidates are 3rd year undergraduates who are passionate about sustainable design and effective communicators.

Qualifications

• 3rd year undergraduate student preferred.
• Desire to work in the Building Design industry.
• Passionate about sustainable design solutions.
• Effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical load calculations.
• Assist with schematic design narratives and NEC review.
• Layout/design/calculations of PV system and renewable energy options.
• CAD and Revit tasks for electrical design.
• Site visits and site observation reports.
